In loving memory of Rowena Dunk, please donate to the Flying Doctor.
Rowena passed away on 3 August, 2024 aged 82 years. Most of her final year was spent in hospital recovering from injuries sustained in a car accident and then battling advanced pancreatic cancer. Â
During this time, the support given by Rowena's extended family, friends, work colleagues and neighbours was invaluable. Rowena's immediate family cannot thank them enough for their assistance during this time of difficulty and sorrow.Â
In order to acknowledge a number of occasions (see below) where Rowena either worked in conjunction with RFDS or received services as a patient, n lieu of flowers. donations can be made to the RFDS.
-1965: worked as a pharmacist with BCA & in conjunction with RFDS in Ceduna.
-mid 1972: received services as a patient on several occasions in Central Australia.Â
-2004: provided with transport to medical appointments in Adelaide.Â
Any donations will help create an ongoing legacy and this will act as a fitting tribute that will make a huge difference in remote, rural and regional communities.
