Simpson Desert Bike Challenge 2024
If you know me, you'll know that the Simpson Desert Bike Challenge is one of the great passions of my life. The desert family I've created, the adventures I've had and the money we've raised to help keep the Flying Doctor flying is a joy!
This year, I'm riding for the second time. It's 10 years and 2 back surgeries since my last ride so the commitment, focus and training is intense. And I'm asking you to help keep my accountable and support an amazing cause in the RFDS by donating.

My impact
So far, my fundraising could help…
Provide a full range of life saving medication such as sedatives, pain relief and antibiotics so the Flying Doctor can be ready for 90 emergency situations.
Send 46 life saving-medical chest to remote communities
Provide one on one counselling to 29 outback Australians during a difficult time
Purchase 19 pieces of equipment that could include ventilators, defibrillators and infusion pumps which are used on board flights

Hi Bron, You don't know me, I was meant to be one of the Support people. Unfortunately, I could not make it out there and almost had a close call with the RFDS myself. I got has far as Quilpie and had to come home. Next year I plan to be there. Probably not as a rider but Bikes, riding and the desert are important to me and what you are doing is amazing.
